The problem of state estimation in the setting partially-observed discrete event systems subject to cyber attacks is considered. An operator observes a plant through natural projection that hides occurrence certain events. objective estimating current system. observation corrupted by an attacker which can tamper with readings set sensors thus inserting some fake events or erasing observations. aim altering operator. automaton, called joint estimator, defined describe all possible attacks.
